Jack Shocklee is a Nashville-based record producer, musician, and label president whose work spans music creation, artist development, and the full operational infrastructure of an independent record label. As co-founder and President of Shae Shoc Records, he has built a catalog that reaches radio, television, and retail markets worldwide, including three Top 10 Billboard-charting radio singles and a production credit on tobyMac’s Eye On It, a No. 1 Billboard-selling album.

A self-taught pianist from St. Louis who began playing by ear at age six, Shocklee developed his producer instincts early, crafting beats throughout high school under the name “DJ Shoc” before studying the music business at Belmont University in Nashville. Influenced by David Guetta, Ryan Tedder, and Max Martin, he shaped a high-impact, radio-ready sound that blends pop, dance, and urban energy, eventually co-founding Shae Shoc Records alongside award-winning recording artist Beckah Shae.

Beyond the studio, Shocklee oversees every layer of a modern independent label: A&R and talent development, e-commerce, email marketing, release campaign strategy, live event booking and day-of-show management, studio musician coordination, radio promotion, and label bookkeeping. He builds and leads cross-functional teams across video, photography, graphic design, and press, then measures performance at a granular level—from streaming growth and store sales to email engagement and video retention.

His work reflects a rare combination: the creative instincts of a producer and the operational range of a label executive, with a focus on scalable systems, artist-first development, and commercially ready records.
